Me: Zachariah, do not stand up on that box.
Z: (Stares blankly, pretending he does not understand, while slowly moving to a standing position.)
Me: Do NOT stand up on that box, you need to sit on your bottom. You don't fool me. I am not dumb. (the latter was muttered under my breath)
Z: (shouting) DUMB! Dumb, dumb, dumb!
